For neurodivergent humans who have tried everything

Finally stick to fitness — without fighting your own brain.

For people who have downloaded every app, started every Monday, and quit by the second week. This is the system you build a real relationship with movement on — designed for ADHD, executive dysfunction, and the days your brain just says no.

Watch this first — 4 minutes on why nothing has stuck before, and what actually works.

01 If this sounds like you

You don't have a discipline problem. You have a wiring problem.

Most fitness advice assumes your brain runs on a linear track. Yours doesn't. You probably already know that. You're just tired of being told to "just push through."

02 Why nothing has stuck

The fitness industry built every programme for a brain that isn't yours.

It's not that you've failed at fitness. You've been handed tools that were never designed for the way your brain works. Here's what went wrong every time:

The 8-week programme from Instagram

Assumed you had linear energy, consistent motivation, and a neurotypical brain. You made it to day 11. Then your brain checked out and you blamed yourself.

The "just be disciplined" advice

This one is actively harmful. It reinforces the belief that you are the problem. You don't need more willpower. You need a system that doesn't require it.

The gym membership you cancelled

Sensory overload. Too many people. Too many decisions about which machine, which weight, which order. You went three times. The membership kept billing for six months.

The cookie-cutter PT

Generic programming that ignored executive dysfunction, fluctuating energy, and the reality of an ADHD week. Their plan looked great on paper. Paper doesn't account for a Tuesday meltdown.

The meal prep Sundays

Lasted two weekends. Rigid robot diets don't survive impulse hunger, fluctuating energy, or the reality of an evening where ordering a curry is the only act of self-care left.

The group classes

Too loud. Too social. Too much pressure to perform. You went once, sat near the back, and have not been back since.

None of these started from the right premise. You are not the problem. The system is. Normal fitness is a maths problem. You need a lifestyle solution.
03 The Misfit Method

A fitness system built around how your brain actually works.

Three principles run through everything. They're not gimmicks. They're the reason this sticks when nothing else has.

i.

The Simplification Method

Workouts stripped to 10–30 minutes, max 3 exercises, zero decisions when your brain is fried. The 20% of effort that gives 80% of results — and nothing else cluttering the page.

ii.

Body Doubling, not bootcamp

Train alongside other Misfits at the same time. Same energy, same accountability, zero pressure to talk, perform, or be "on." Group training for people who hate group training.

iii.

Flexible Consistency

Low-energy day? There's a low-energy version. Bad week? We adjust. The goal is regulated consistency, not perfection. Showing up imperfectly beats not showing up at all — every time.

04 What's inside the membership

Everything is built to remove friction — not add another thing to manage.

i.
Short, simple workouts delivered through the app
No more staring at a programme spreadsheet. Open the app. Press start. That's the whole transition. Low-energy versions sit right next to the regular ones — no guilt, no negotiation.
ii.
Body Doubling group sessions
Train "alone but together" with other Misfits. The accountability you need without the social drain or the pressure to perform. This is the part most members say is the gamechanger.
iii.
1:1 check-ins where we adjust to real life
Regular sessions with me where we change the plan based on how your brain and body are actually doing — not what a spreadsheet says they should be. We work with your energy, not against it.
iv.
In-app messaging support between sessions
The accountability without the awkwardness. You can voice-note me when you've had a bad week, hit a wall, or just need someone to say "yeah, that's normal, here's what we do."

05 What happens after you join

No 30-page onboarding. You're training within the week.

Step 01 · You

Pick your tier and sign up

Straight checkout. No call. No application form. You'll get an email within minutes with your app login and the next Body Doubling schedule.

Step 02 · Me

I get you set up properly

A short intake — five minutes, max — so I know your situation, energy patterns, and any injuries. Then I build your first week of workouts around what you actually have capacity for. Not what a generic plan thinks you should.

Step 03 · Us

You start training. Properly.

You join your first Body Doubling session, do your first short workout, and start the only thing that matters: showing up imperfectly, repeatedly. The mental load drops within two weeks. The physical changes follow.

You've read enough. You know if this is for you.

06 Who's behind this

I'm Paula. I'm a PT who couldn't follow her own programmes for 15 years.

I thought I was lazy. Broken. A fraud. I had the qualifications, the science, the experience — and I still couldn't get myself to train consistently.

For most of my career as a personal trainer I'd start strong, crash after a week, then spend the next month in a depression spiral wondering what was fundamentally wrong with me. I was coaching other people through transformations I couldn't pull off in my own life.

Then I read a Facebook post listing ADHD symptoms and recognised every single one. Late diagnosis. Suddenly 15 years of "why can't I just do this?" had an answer. And it wasn't laziness.

I threw out the rulebook and started building workouts for how my brain actually works. Short. Simple. Flexible. Zero decisions when my brain is fried. The result was the first time I'd ever trained consistently in my life — not perfectly, consistently.

I built The Misfit Collective because I wasted years thinking I was the problem. There are thousands of people sitting on their couches right now, staring at their gym shoes, feeling exactly how I used to. They don't need more motivation. They need a system that was actually built for them.

That's why this works. I lived it. I'm still living it.

−8kg, +80kg deadlift
In 12 weeks · Age 50

Entrepreneur and mum who'd felt overwhelmed and stuck for years. Trains 30 minutes, three times a week. Now stronger at 50 than she was at 30. She's trained with me for over a decade — that's how well this approach sticks once it clicks.

Busy business owner. Was exhausted, overwhelmed, couldn't sleep. Now moving consistently, blood pressure significantly down, and sleeping properly for the first time in years. Had tried and quit multiple traditional programmes before this.

09 Questions other Misfits asked first

Honest answers, not sales fluff.

I have literally tried everything. Why would this be any different?+
Honest answer: because everything else you tried was built for a brain that isn't yours. The Misfit Collective isn't motivation dressed up in friendlier language — it's a structurally different system. Short workouts. Zero decisions. Body Doubling. Flexible plans on low-energy days. If you're skeptical, that's healthy. The 30-day guarantee exists for exactly this reason — try it, properly, and if it doesn't land, you get a refund.
What if I can't even get myself to log in some weeks?+
That's expected. That's the actual problem this membership solves. You don't get dropped, judged, or chased with passive-aggressive emails. We adjust the plan, do the smallest possible version of a session at the next Body Doubling, and rebuild from there. The whole point is regulated consistency — not perfection.
$150 a week is a lot. Especially when I've wasted money on programmes I never finished.+
Fair. Here's the maths: most people in your position have spent more than this on gym memberships, apps, programmes, supplements, and one-off PT sessions over the last two years — without ever actually getting consistent. If you'd rather start cheaper, Shadow at $59/week is built for that. And if it's not working within 30 days, you get your money back. The thing you're really paying for is finally not having to figure this out alone again.
I'm not just ADHD — I also have anxiety / chronic fatigue / medication that affects my energy. Will this work?+
Yes. The system was built around fluctuating energy, not despite it. The 1:1 check-ins exist specifically so we can adjust around your reality — medication shifts, low-energy phases, anxious weeks. The Body Doubling is also designed to be sensory-friendly. If anything, the more complicated your brain situation, the more useful this approach is.
How much time does it actually take per week?+
Workouts are 10–30 minutes. Most Misfits aim for three sessions a week, but that's flexible. Body Doubling sessions are optional and bookable around your life. If you're at full capacity already, you can absolutely make this work with 90 minutes of training a week total.
I've hired a PT before and it was the same generic cookie-cutter stuff. Why is this different?+
Because most PTs design programmes that look great on a spreadsheet and then expect you to make them happen. I design around the fact that the spreadsheet doesn't survive a Tuesday afternoon meltdown. I also have ADHD, run this membership while living it, and have spent 15 years figuring out what actually works for brains like ours — not what looks impressive in a fitness magazine.
Can I cancel?+
Yes. Anytime. No contracts, no minimum commitments, no awkward exit conversations. And within the first 30 days, if you've genuinely given it a go and it isn't working, you get a full refund.
What if this isn't for me?+
Then don't join. Genuinely. If you're after intense bootcamp energy, hardcore aesthetic-focused programming, or someone who'll yell "no excuses" at you — that's not what this is. The Misfit Collective is specifically for people who've felt failed by mainstream fitness. If that's not you, you'll be happier somewhere else.
One last thing

You don't need more discipline. You need a system built for you.
